GUYS: do you like girls that wear nail polish?

I absolutely always notice a woman's nails. It's the 2nd thing I look at after the face.

Professional great looking nails, a feminine length (at least 1mm longer than finger tips) or longer and well finished - almost any finish - is a sign of a well groomed, attentive woman. If she's diligent enough to look after her nails, she's probably more likely to look after areas of herself - both physical and psychological. Probably also pays more attention to detail than others without manicure.

I like clear, French, most reds, pinks, 2 tones, dark metallic blues, shimmer, glitter as long as the finish suits the outfit, occasion and demeanor of the lady. There is some nail art I've liked as well, but it's difficult to have something that'll match all your outfits and venues during the week. Not really turned on by short nails colored black - unless it's new year's and black has shimmer in it - but still not turned on by very short nails. Personally - I define too short nails as those shorter than length of fingertip - or even cut down to nail bed. Ouch! It even hurts to look at some of the extremely short nails I've seen. Even if you do prefer them short - and it's certainly your choice (some women need short nails due to occupation/activity) there is no excuse for them being unkempt. That is, chipped, uneven broken, split nails should not be seen. We all experience damage to our hands and nails, but the nail damage can almost certainly be fixed by a competent nail technician at almost any salon. I've had many nail ';incidents'; but always get it fixed as good as possible by my nail tech. Hey! I'm a happily married, straight male and I like to have my nails manicured and polished (clear) - so why would a women be concerned about wearing polish? You shouldn't be. It's just polish.

I seen a lady (young) wear a different bright neon color on every finger. Well, it worked for her, but wouldn't for others.

In direct answer to your question, personally, I do like pearly white or other pearl effect colors. Colors that compliment your outfit and just great looking nails - not too far out there, are a definite turn on - to me anyway. It shows a level of sophisticated grooming that most educated men notice. If you're out to attract or get noticed by ditch diggers - then most of them probably wouldn't care about your nails. No offense intended to ditch diggers.

Summary: Yes. Guys like women to wear nail polish. Most colors okay. Neutral, off-white, pearly colors all okay. Definite turn-on.GUYS: do you like girls that wear nail polish?
We had this poll a few days ago, and most guys said they never noticed or paid attention, while most women were like, ';you think dudes look at our nails?';

I personally only notice if you pick an unusual color like orange, red, green, navy blue, magenta... something not sold by brands like L'Oreal. Really, NYC or O.P.I Brights will get attention.GUYS: do you like girls that wear nail polish?
i don't think the color really mater if it's simple. with a nice design is ok.multi color elaborate design or extreme in the length make girls look high maintenance and vain. i hate to see a cashier trying to use a keypad with a nine inch nail style.
Yeah-if its pink or red. Other colors such as green or blue just look funky and goofy to me.
