rubbing alcohol ;) be sure to wash your hands good with soap after usage. nail polish remover uses rubbing alcohol, and it works just as good. i find the smell repulsive though, just warning you. depending on the type of nail polish, some can be removed simply by running warm water over them and rubbing with soap.Can you make a homemade nail polish remover?
In short, no. Nail polish remover is acetone. You can technically make it but you'd need some pretty mad chemistry skills to make it in your bathroom.
Acetone is the same stuff.
