I have a sterling sliver heart necklace that I love to wear but it gets scratched up if I wear it to often. I have tried cleaning it but that only helps a little. Can you put clear nail polish over it to help protect it or some other easily found house hold remedy for this?Can Nail Polish protect Jewlery?

I think nail varnish would probebly damage it more to be honest, you could try using some normal household polish - other than that i'm not sure what to suggest hun, try to ask a pro if you can :]
It might. I know its recommended to put clear nail polish on fake jewelry so that it won't turn your skin green.
I don't think it would hurt to try. Try calling a local jeweler first!!
