If nailpolish remover doesnt work, try using a nail file to lightly scrape off the color. Try not to damage the nail, though.
You can always paint over it until it goes away, but I think normal wear and tear would get rid of it faster--not that you want to look at that ugly orange. Bathe a lot? Maybe that will help...Help! My nail polish turned my nails ORANGE! What do I do to make it go away?
rub your nails with olive oil.
oh boy. this happens all the time. its either from the color, the brand, or from wearing nail polish VERY often.
i never take my nailpolish off, i always have some color on....
so my nails turn yellow/orange all the time.
just buff your nails really good with a nail buffer or a soft filer.
itll come off and your nails will be SMOOTH!!
nail polish remover to remove the old stuff, a new brand of pink ...so that the orange that is srtained on the nails isn't visible, and now u hav to wait until the orange ones grow ot...so keep up w/ the new pink (baby pink b/c dark red or pink will definetly stain ur nails)!
it stained your nails it goes away eventually when new nail starts to grow. next time you should put a clear coat on before you paint your nails this will prevent further orange nails.
Hi there
There isn't much you can do to already colored nails than wait paitiently for a few days for the color to fade. Do not put another nail polish on top to hide it. You need to let your nails breathe.
Clean every day with nail polish remover.
And before you wear another nail polish again, wear a nail base first. Check the Revlon brand for some good nail care solutions. The base will protect your nail from becoming dull after a prolonged nail polish wear, or becoming colored.
use opi.
I think you should just wait till your nail grows out. if you nail is still orange you should ask your doctor. some nail polishs can have bad chemicals or if you have always put the same nail polish again and again it will create problems like this. Other nail conditions can indicate disease. For example, yellow or green discoloration in your nails may result from a respiratory condition, such as chronic bronchitis, or from swelling of your hands (lymphedema). Indentations that run across your nails, called Beau's lines, appear when growth at the area under your cuticle is interrupted. This might occur because of an injury or severe illness, such as a heart attack.
If you have a nail problem that persists or is associated with other signs and symptoms, make an appointment with your doctor to get it checked out. The doctor's visit typically includes an examination of your nails along with other observations and tests to make a diagnosis.
Good luck!
Don't wear any nail polish for a week or so, and your nails will return to normal. Use a base coat, and put that hot pink back on.
This happened to me last week, except mine turned yellow (EWW). This is how I got the stain out:
Clean under your nails with a baking soda mixture( mix baking soda with a few drops of water so it makes a paste). Wash your hands. Then soak your nails in hydrogen peroxide to bleach the top layer (of your nails) and essentially remove the stain. Then wash your hands again. Then, rub lemon juice on the top with a cotton swab or a paper towel. This makes the bleaching permanent. Finally wash your hands for a final time!
Repeat if necessary.
This will only work if the stain is not all all the way through the nail. It will only work if it is in the first few layers.
If this does not work try growing them out! Here are a few tips to make them grow faster:
-tapping your nails (while it may be annoying) will actually make them grow faster.
-pushing your cuticles back
-take gelatin supplements
-Cutting your nails instead of filling can make your nails grow faster
-DON鈥橳 BITE THEM (this is the worst thing to do!!!)
-Drink lots of milk
-Don鈥檛 pick at them!!
- NutraNail Green Tea formula that helps your nails grow longer and stronger.
-Vitamin D makes your nails longer and stronger
-Buy a nail buffer (you can get a few good, but not expensive, one from Sally Hanson) this will simulate nail growth!
-Some nail polishes can make your nails grow faster.
Most people's finger nails (not toes they grow much faster) grow about 0.04in-0.07in per week. This is with out doing anything special to them! You can make them grow faster though!
If all else fails you can always try another nail polish and paint over the stain untill it grows out! GOOD LUCK!
hey,
yeaa that happens alot with cheaper nailpolish
what you do it clean the underside of the nail,
then soak your feet in vinegar,
then use a cotton swab to use nailpolish remover and put it all over the nails
That happen to me once too. I don't know what you can do to make it go away except just wait (it took like 2 weeks for mine it fully turn back to normal) For now just wear a nail polish over it BUT for now on, every time you use nail polish put a clear on FIRST, before any color.
It will fade away after awhile.
Remember to coat yr nails with a base coat before putting the nail polish because the nail polish itself contains lots of harmful chemicals.
Use a base coat before applying polish. For now, buff the nail to remove the orange
try nail polish remover or just wait for it to grow out
it might be a reaction to a dye in the nail polish... i wouldn't use it anymore.
dont bleach your nails that would be bad
the reason they turned orange is because im guessing that you had the nail polish on for more than 5 days?the coloring in dark nail polish colors like hot pink and navy blue and black have this chemical that dies your nail if you wear it for too long it is just a natural thing it will go away sooner or later just leave them alone and no opi isnt a bad company they just make nail polish there is nothing you can do about it except not wear dark nail polish for a long period of time
also your nail turn orange when you start to smoke
bleach
Are you sure it was your nailpolish? Eating carrots will do the same thing... or a change in eating habits. I would not put anything on them for a while, or just use clear.
Use a buffer (you can get them in nail supply stores) and buffer them over your nails. For the future, just put a base coat first, then your polish, so your nails dont turn colors... if you dont have a base coat, you can also use the top coat...
