check the seal- guess it's not airtight. Things are getting evaporated out.
a. The ambient pressure in aircrafts is often lower than atmospheric pressure causing low boiling point liquids to vaporise fast.
b. The Seal is not airtight- it's letting the vapors out.
c. Temperature differentialWhen I fly, my sealed bottle of nail polish remover I have packed is half gone. why?
could be 2 reasons, 1) security tested it and used up half of it during the testing (to make sure it wasn't a bomb). or 2) some leaked out during your flight, and since nail polish remover is an alcohol, it will readily evaporate, leaving no real evidence of it leaking out. check to see if your bag or clothes are discolored. nail polish remover will do that to dyes in fabric.
