I always notice that hands look much longer when the nails are a french-manicure.

A french manicure with the white intentionally painted a bit behind the actual smile line. It will make it look like you have more free edge than you do.

Fake nails! Or if you really only want to use nail polish I suggest using one of those nail-growth polishes like Sally Hansen's...Longer nails make your fingers look longer period. As for a color I suggest french tip or bright neon or metallic colors.

dont go for blacks or darks because this shortens your nail add a very thin line of whit nail varish to your tips and this will also add some extra length

Try growing your nails and getting or a do-it-yourself french manicure job. The accented tips will elongate fingers.
